Hello Miss Buffy
I doubt that being a girl would be the reason for people not to reply. More than likely no one knows.
As far as your Toshiba goes I dont know, but you have replaced everything & it should work simple as that. I guessing at what you are thinking? about panel brand etc. I'd been complaining to supplier for a new one with same brand.
Is it under warranty, as I find it impossible justify cost of repair of these small LCDs with major rebuilds.
Best of luck

That got a reply :yahoo: the Tosh is doing my head in, the panel is OK, its something on the settings i think? Have you ever wondered how far you could chuck a 20" paperweight  :wink1: ?   The other one i have with AUO panel is a superb picture, BUT i cant access any menus, coz there is no OSD/remote/tuning functions etc.... so its like a an old Fergie 30 years ago  get up to turn it on/off and turn sound down....  The thing is fine by using the SKY remote, to change on the box.... etc.....
Anybody want a CMO Panel for a 100% WORKING 17MB08P (WL) board!!!   I got a Cello from the Tip that was as dead as a Dodo, and even thats miles better  :dubbio: after replacing capacitors!!!! and splitting the screen in two to get the s*** out!!! oh joy!!!

You have to be careful when changing LCD panel on Toshiba sets because some of them operate with  different screen supply voltages - so you really need to change like for like!
You can normally tell on Toshiba sets which LCD panel is fitted by looking at the 'letter' after the serial number i.e. A= AU, C = ChiMei(CMO) etc.
Hope this might help

I have done - it had a CMO screen LO1 replaced with same, i was hoping it had the AUO screen, coz i have one of those!!! anyway - i am getting the remote 2morrow, so i hope a factory reset might do it...

Can any one post the settings on here in service mode???? both sets Adjust and Options? PLEASE!!!!!!!  I suspect something is set wrong?? either that or its the inverter input voltages????  :wallbash: The thing is i want to sell this one on locally = to raise some cash to reapir the Sony Bravia with cracked screen!!!! (155 quid D'lec) which is MUCH nicer!!!
