Title: Sony KDL-32D3000
Post by: Matt Brook on November 24, 2008,16:22:23
Hi

I have a KDL-32D3000 for repair, it powers up for a few seconds with no audio and picture and then drops down to standby mode.
Has anyone had any typical symtoms with this model, is it usually a over voltage protection  safety cutting in.

I would really appreciate your comments.

Thanks Again

Matt

Hi

Im still having some problems with the KDL-32D3000.
The tv powers up and it looks like the backlight kicks in, but then i here a couple clicking noises and the tv goes back to the standby flashing red light.
Here are the sony blink codes
Main power supply voltage error 2
DC_ALERT1 3
DC_ALERT2 4
DC_ALERT3 5
Backlight error 6
Internal temperature error 7 *2
Audio error 8
Fan error (HFR model only) 9
Digital FE error 10
Trident error 11
HFR error *1 12
Balancer error 13
Note *1: It is judged as HFR Error when Safety Shutdown is activated due to either of FRC ACK error,
1.5V error, 2.5V/3.3V error, or Panel 12V error.

I thin k the problem may be a balancer error or a HRF error but im not sure what this problem is, can anyone help please?

Hi The problem has now been rectified, as a loose lvds cable to the panel.

Thanks
