hi new to tv repairs good knowledge on electronics gr8 forum  :biggrin2:

i have a 42lf65 with nothing no leds lit no pic no sound
and only power output from the power board in 5v on p201 going to the main board.
been searching the net for schematics for days no joy service manual useless
any help much appreciated.

42lf65, oh yes, the 5v line rises to something like 20v due to the opto failing, if yourre in the uk, this takes a number of ics on the signal pcb, if your meter has lohi memory on it run it for 2\3 days without the main pcb connected and come back to me, then we can discuss a new pcb for you, or even getting yours repaired, as main purchaser of all lg returns in the uk i am sure we can help

but beware if you simply replace the mcb it will probably pop again
