Title: lg ru-42px11 black vertical line?

was wondering if there is an easy fix for a 3inch back line down the right side of the screen on all inputs? thank you.

possibly a ribbon issue on the z drive pcb, access is quite easy, you have to remove the signal panel with the set face down. otherwise its likely to be a pdp fault. good luck

Is this a version6 panel 42v6****  ?
If the line is a solid black line with no coloured bits, try this:
At the bottom of panel is film connectors from panel, remove the one that is inline with fault. On the film is 4 x SMD resistors, resolder them & clean connector.
Bit of luck that will fix it.
All film connectors should be done as they will fail too.
