HI all,
I never had a LCD TV before, had it all rigged up and turned it on, The Initial Channel search screen came up, i think i may have accidently selected NO on this screen. The message came up NO INPUT SIGNAL, i've changed all input sources and i confirmed that there is a signal coming from the cable, does anyone know how i can get the Initial Channel Search screen back up so i can select yes, as i'm hoping this will solve the problem. Other then that does anyone know what may be the problem??
In need of desperate help.

I don“t know that particular TV,- but hit the menu button and find setup or channelsettings. Then click on autosearch.

Ta, i tried that, went in to AUto Search, manual says that when the autosearch is finished it will show all channels stored, however, the telly times out and knocks its self off before it reaches the end of the search!! Catch 22 me thinks.
Thanks for helping

hello,
in the search mode the auto shut off is disabled, is it the lamps that go out or does the set revert to s\by? if the lamps go out but the set remains "on" then you have a backlight issue, very common, hope this helps

Tony,
Thanks for replying. The set reverts to standby, it's like the autosearch goes on for too long.

Folks,
Turns out the TV was faulty, brought it back to Argos after 1 year, no receipt, they gave me credit note for full amount. Thanks for all your help.
