Hi folks, I have this tv in for repair, the psu is tripping. I have checked all the caps and many resistors but can't find the fault, it does work sometimes. I have proven the psu to be faulty by using an external one. The psu is numbered PSM192-240 which I believe is fitted to other sets. Does anyone know the problem or have a diagram or know where I can get a new psu. Many thanks, Norman

hi norman,
not much response re funai, is it ext 24v about 8a, 4 pins, may have one from a goodmans , does same job?
-
Hi Tony, It is internal 24v 8a. I would modify it to take external supply just to get it off the bench. Please pm me with price etc. Thanks Norman

what am i thinking, i know the one, we have genuine funai, when i get to work i will mail you

right norman,
just been through our stores, the funais we do are the ones that use the li shin supply with the short dc output lead, the psu sits inside the set, 24v@7.5A, they are from the 32in range, is that the one?

Hi Tony, The powers supply is made by PHIHONG numbers on the supply are PSM192-240. It is an open pcb with output 24v 6.8-8a with a multi pin sockets for input/output. I will use anything that will work, if it is an enclosed supply I will mount it outside the cabinet if it won't fit. Please let me know what you have. Many thanks Norman.

has it just got a single output, 24@7.5A, if so we do a very compact one, 6in by 3in approx, cased, if you contact me today i will put it away for you
