standby light on wont switch on can anyone help

Need more information as to what you have checked etc.

the 3 and 5 volt lines are present the 15 volt line is also present but it does not discharge after the supply is removed 1 hour after the supply is removed 15 volts is still there.

Check the voltage on base of Q701 and press the standby button and see if the voltage changes. If it changes you should have -15v, +15v, +12v, 3.3v and 5.5v. If this happens then your power supply and microprocessor are ok the set is coming out of standby and your fault lies elsewere.

i have downloaded the circuit diagram and it looks nothing like the set i have it shows the main board and psu on one board the set i have has a seperate psu from the main board,now i am a bit confused because rz15 la70 is the modle number on the set any ideas.

try removing and refiting the micom
the ic in the holder on the main pcb these gave a lot of problems during production
