Title: LG RZ-20LA70 No picture, bright raster

Hi,
could anyone help with this LG set. The sound is OK, but there is no picture just a bright blank raster. If the menu button is pressed you can just about make out  a change on the screen.

Hi Mark, This sounds like the screen interface board, the small board on the back of the lcd panel. Try connecting the scart socket of the tv to another tv,if you get pics on it then it is almost certain to be the interface board. These are not normally available seperately. sound like your problem in the interface board check 5v in this board if no 5v check the cabel  could be poor contacte.

Hi Mark,just to clarify, connect the scart from your faulty tv to another tv,select av on the good tv and see if pics appear. If pics appear then interface board faulty. You are using scart out on faulty tv not scart input. Norman
