Title: Toshiba 37C303DB no digital stations

A customer has no freeveiw stations on his tosh 37C303DB LCD. The DTV sign is on , the guide and menu captions flash up for a second then blank again. Terestrial tv is ok. I suspect an update firmware
may be required.Anybody got a solution ? Help please. John.

been on to tosh tech. this morning, a new one. but here is the manual

Hi John,

If the model is 37c3030db, then you will need to upgrade the firmware,
you will need a PCMCIA CF adaptor and the correct firmware from Toshiba
You will be very unlucky if the board is faulty

Hi Brian,
             I noticed this solution on euras ,but I don't subscribe to the site.I have accounts with C.Hyde
and Seme-Nedis.Can Seme supply the adaptor and how do I get the firmware update?           

I also have a Samsung LE26R41bd  with some digi stations missing. I know a solution for the R73 type,but this R41 is slightly different.Any clues ?

Hi John,

I have emailed you a PDF explaining what is involved, I am not sure where you get the adaptor from
 ( mine was a freebie from panasonic years ago) Im sure a google search will bring up a few suppliers.
