Title: Grundig LXW102/8625 Xentia 40 LCD Display driver board blown surface mount fuse
Post by: Technomaniac on March 26, 2009,03:35:14
This LCD set is apparently made by Erae Electronics and our Grundig agent denies its' existence. The Erae model number I found on Erae's website with photos, but they can't be contacted. The Erae version is sold as "Digital Art" brand under the model ELT-4000AP-EN it seems. I would like service info, and also to find a good display driver board. I tried bypassing the blown fuse while monitoring the current, with another fuse in circuit, and there was a display, but just random vertical lines. So I think that board is faulty. It is attached to the display rather than the main chassis plate so maybe it wouldn't be available separately anyway, but if someone has had an accident and broken a display......  Any sightings of the model would be interesting to hear about.  Thanks, .....Technomaniac.
