Hi
Got a LG32LC56 LCD TV that switches to standby after 20 minutes or so. It usually restarts but the time before it trips out again lessens until after a few restarts it will only come back on momentarily. Just before tripping out the backlight goes out and after a fraction of a second the green led reverts to red. Seems like an inverter fault. The set uses a combined psu/inverter type EAY34795001. Heating the inverter transformer with a hair drier seems to speed up the faults appearance. Anyone come across this problem before and are these transformers available seperately, or is it a case of change the board. The transformer (ref T701) is marked 2130KP0175A-F.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Thanks
John.

Hi Tony
Carried out the inductor modification. The set has been on test for 24 hours now with no problems. Thanks Tony, without your expertise this set would probably have been a lost cause (and an expensive one). I`ll run it for a couple more days before returning it to the customer and then give you a final update.
Thanks again
John.
