Title: philips 37pfl5522d l.c.d. just blue screen.

Hi guys,anybody know seen one of these l.c.d's.if you switch it on ,comes on blue screen with digital t.v. in top left hand corner.if you try to select anything else it just displays a small cross inside a box.the only things that seem to work are volume control and picture size.Any ideas ?

The only solution is to store the correct options of tv,(you cant use service mode because tv is stuck in digital tv mode).The only thing is working is volume up and down.

 :wallbash:The bad news is that you can only do it with a philips computer tool.
Only authorized services got that.
Maby you can try to find NVM eprom and reload it again. :dubbio:

Thanks for the reply,I had thought about this today& I think that most likely the option codes are corrupted.I have got the correct option codes they are listed on the chassis just like the good old a10 chassis.Is there no way of getting into service without using computer,i.e.like the a10 using button pushes on the remote control.
