Hi,
I have a Vistron VIS042 TV with an LG42V7 panel. Recently, there have been random red & green dots coming from the right hand side of the screen. They have gotten much worse over time. I read that it may be a fault fixed by using the 6871VSNB03E 42V7 repair kit, and swapping the boards. Before I order myself up a kit I just wondered if anyone else has seen this fault and how it was rectified? Any other advice is appreciated also.
Thanks in advance.

G'day
Have you checked the PSU (power supply), it may be noise on the rails. Try heating the PSU board lightly with a heat gun while observing the picture and see if there is any change. It may well be leaky electro's if there is any change
Just a thought

I'll give it go. Thanks for the response!

I found some good advice from folks with the same problem:

I'll give the adjustments a try before I buy the kit.

Adjustments made on ZSUS board. Cleared most of the problem.
