First time posting and not even sure if I am doing it right so please bare with me
My question is about these kit on that website wanted to know if anyone has had luck with them, and if they are the real deal?
We have a 53' Sony projection TV and it was ready to be put out to pasture, when I thought to go online with the possible problem.
from thje sounds of it it sounds like a convergence thing and the TVrepair site has a kit for total about $72 comes with (2) IC chips, fuses, resistors, instructions and thermal paste
I know it would be better than a new TV price but I don't want to be out the $71 either
anyone have any thoughts on this???
thanks

hello from the uk, kits are generally reliable, there are two main types, repair kits and reliability kits, both of which carry full instructions, but you have to have reasonable knowledge of the product you are servicing, eg: if you have convergence problems, fitting a psu kit would be a waste of money.
correct diagnosis of your problem is essential, hope this makes you decide on the correct decision
