Hi i have the TV listed above with the powersupply 17pw20v1 the problem is that the tv does not turn on , there is no light on the screen and the standby indicator just blinks on and off steadily. From what i have read the problem could possibly be the listed powerboard and it needs repair/replacing. I have no problem buying a new one if this is the case although as i hope is understandable i dont want to spend £60 only to have the same problem and its another fault with the tv , but like i said the forums point towards the power board , there is also no one in the local area who can help me, i have phoned all the local tv repair shops the cheapest quote was for £130.
Can anyone help me in the right direction ? i can solder pretty well so if i can repair it it shouldnt be too much of a problem but i only have basic tools ie a standard digital multimeter.
Thanks in advance
Scouse
