Title: Samsung PS50Q97HDX no power up relay clicking repeatedly

Samsung PS50Q97HDX relay clicking repeatedly but no power up.

voltages on psu look ok suspect might be corrupt eeprom.

however unsure eeprom location on this model or if i can short pins to get into service menu.

just a update located eeprom i tryed shorting pins clock & data 5 & 6 on (24C256) eeprom

sets still refuses to power up relay clicks every 4-5 seconds im guessing eeprom must be ok ?
looked at the the electrolytic capacitors in psu all look ok  ?

I think this model might be a plasma. If so, check for dry joints on gx801 on p/supply. I needed a magnifier to find them!!

can i ask what component you are referring to as i cant find gx801 on the bn44-00162a psu.

Hi
I,m working from memory, but look for three legged Fet,s (I think!)
mounted on heat sink. As I said I needed to use a magnifier to see them!

reflowed all Fet,s psu still clicks every 4 seconds so guessing there must be another problem in psu someware.
