Title: samsung ps50q97hd picture shifted to left ?

i have a samsung ps50q97hd

the tuner board was gone on the set so i replaced it with a spare tuner board i already then unit powered up ok.

on powerup i noticed right side of screen is black and has some lines.

osd works fine.

anyone advize what it might be? or anyone think it might be bad panel?

Hi,

I think its your G-buffer that is gone.

Try removing the at least 3 flex cables on the G-Buffer to the right hand side (corresponding to where the thick lines are) and see if the lines develops speckles.

If that is the case then the G Buffer needs repalcing.
