Title: Xenius 42" LCD Power supply Problems ( Vestel 17pw16-2 )

On power up the blue led lights comes on then goes dim for about 4s the out for about 2s then backup to full light. The displaty is dead with no power to backlight. If i remove cable from PL803 backlight does come on.
I have changed most components in the standby problem kit except IC829 which i cant seem to find on anywhere on the board.

PS board - Vestel 17pw16-2
Mainboard - 17mb12-2

Hi , I had a post back in April this year with the same symptoms and it turned out to be the 17mb22
mother pcb was at fault.

Check lcd faults about 23.4.09.     tv john

Is this a common problem and is there anyone who knows if there is an easy fix. Or is this a main board replacement???
