Title: Atec 32" lcd Power Supply Faulty ?
Post by: dieweaver on August 18, 2009,17:08:03
My 32" Atec lcd tv (AV320PD) died this weekend.
Press the standby button the led goes from Red to Orange and back to red.
After searching the net for info I find this to be a regular problem with this brand of set

I took the back off and looked at the psu a couple of the capacitors tops look like there bulging Plus the
transformer next to them looks discoloured.

I'll appreciate any help or info anyone could give i've included a snap of the psu board

Seems to have done the trick. Replaced the three caps next to the transformer plus the one the other side of the heatsink just to make sure and tada, first time in a long time something actually goes right for a change.
