Title: for TV Tony-Technosonic LCD1908

Hi
Any known cause of repeat failure of the VF20100SG on these.Fitted genuine one from Dalbani and failed after 2 days.As they're not the cheapest diodes in the world,thinking of ordering a couple of farnell equivalents ready for soak if there's no known cause.

Hi Nick,

  Have replaced these with BYQ28 and and have had no problems, although replacement needs tab isolation. Only did so as I have piles of them at 10p a go from Sendz components from the old days.

Thanks for the reply.
I've taken a chance and ordered a couple of MBR20200CT -75p each and a pack of mica washers from Farnell today,so hopefully i'll make another customer happy  :cheesy1:
