Title: Samsung LE40R88BDX (eprom)

Hi just recapped the psu on this set (4x100uf) but set just flashes led 6 times, traced fault to a faulty eeprom (24c256),this set has the BN41-00813B  av board fitted, and i have a BN41-00813D av board from a scrapped set, i have swapped the eproms over between the boards and it now powers up but i just get a scrabbled image on the screen, is this because the eeprom has different data on it as the B & D av boards appear to use different lcd panels or is it a further fault on the board.
Also if the eeprom is different between the B & D revision of board has anybody got a dump for the BN41-00813B-mp1.0

Not the same model but maybe it will help you...
BTW:Try in SM Factory Defaults.

try shorting pins 5 and 6 as the setpowers up  then remove link . seems to have worked for some people .

Thanks for the replies, changed eeprom and now working, the problem with the scrambled picture was the screen connector was faulty, the eeprom from the rev d board worked after a factory reset.
