Title: Sony KLV-26HG2 LCD Red Flashing Light

i have a sony KLV-26HG2 LCD tv which has a red flashing light, tv doesnt power up

power on tv,
green light shows,
relay clicks,
then red light flashes.

please help :mellow:

In this model led blinks in sequentions. For example 4 blinks than 1 second pause and next 4 blinks. Are you shoore is blinks all the time ??? REGARDS

sorry its every other second
so

1 sec. flash
2 sec. no flash
3 sec. flash
4 sec. no fash.ect

hi
try disconnecting screen drive panel,if stops flashing fault on there
i had one on 32" sony,check prev's listings

just tried that and the fault is still there also with the inverter removed aswell

it seems the KLV-26HG2 has the same guts as a KLV-L23M1

Check c6314/6331 both sm 33uf in power or sm fuses PS8201,2,3&4 or c6030 47uf.
