hi
help if poss i have picture but no sound
have connected audio out to surround system ok
main board 17mb08p-5
all volts seem ok no signs of any components burnt
out

  Think I have good 17MB08P-5 should you become desparate - smashed screen AcSol LCDW3210S

  PS - I need a 17MB24.1-1 -  AcSol LCD32805HD - mine has distorted sound - all outputs.

thanks for reply have found heating sound ic with
hairdryer sound back on froze with freezer off
again will try and unsolder and fit new one

HI SPARKY.
hade a same problem in vestel chasis (dont remember the chasis).
found 2 ele capi in ps not ok  leading vcc to sound ic whith big ripple.
check with scop.

Do you have audio through headphones?If so,could be muted at pin 34 of ic702. Don't have any other info.

tried headphones they work but sound cannot be altered
no up or down for headphones cust does not want to pay much ,they have
spare sound system for computer tried in audio skt works
cust will use for a bit longer tv not digitail
