Title: Samsung Le40r88bd clicking after replaced capacitors
Post by: wingow on December 01, 2009,20:33:02
Hi replaced the caps on my le40r88bd tv but still clicking and trying to turn on but never does, swapped the main av board BN41 00813B-MP1.0 with another one i had from my other tv and it turns on okay, i was wondering what fault is on the main board and what do i fix?

Some one suggested eeprom ic 1803 24c256 is that a swap over part? or does the new eeprom need programming?

Anyone got a good BN41 00813B-MP1.0 board?

Hi there , have the same sh it  e samsunk tv with exactly the same prob , changed out 10v 1000fu to a more realistic 15v 4 caps blown .. upon restart still no joy  had re set the eeprom with 1, 3 not as stated on this forum as 5, 6 , three attempts laters and hey presto up and running ... I have e mailed samsunk my thoughts about a product purchased in good faith for a considerable ammount of money , only to have samsunks product fail within a time scale just out of warranty!! cheap and nasty caps used on there power board simple as ! hope this helps if any other poor customer has the failings of the clicking syndrome. stay safe and good wealth for 2010
