Hi Vincent,
Have you tried any of the other inputs? I assume you are just using the HDMI inputs, it is very unusual to get multiple faults on one of these sets so I would try the scarts and the freeview side and see if you get a picture. You need to refit the SD board and then disconnect the ribbons that connect to the screen to make sure you dont have a screen fault. Also i would examine the screen with a magnifying glass to see if you have a blown "pixel".

Hello,
thanks for the answer ;
so i try with AV1 input and AV2...not the other one ...i every time have sound but no picture.
Connect the SD board but not the ribbon for the screen...i try and i have the same error
i'm sur that the SD card is dead but i may be also the screen...because they still stay
white without any error...but some plasma need the two card to working properly....
When you say dead pixel, i mean that only one dead pixel explain that the screen is dead ?
i try another panasonic repair center to found my information or if somebody could continue
to help i would greatly appreciate :ciao:

Vincent

Hi Vincent,
If you still get the error code then you are right that the SD board has failed, so you will have to fit a new Sd board, the reason I asked you to check for a blown pixel is that this can damage your new Sd board. I dont know why you dont have a picture unless you have another fault!

okay,
So i'm sure that the SD is dead, but when you say a dead pixel, it mean that a black pixel,
green, red, blue ? or maybe white...i supposed that dead mean black on plasma...
for the white screen i contact a lot of panasonic reparator and nobody are sure that
this blanck screen is normal, someone say yes i could be normal and someother say
it could not be normal..so i still at the same point :huh1:
it hesitate to buy this news card....i let me one week to found solution...or answer to
the blanck screen problem (or not problem)
best regards,
Vincent

Hi,
Take a look at that, maybe could help.It seems like you have a defective SD board.

The dead pixel is small and is only about 1 to two pixels high it is visiable with the tv turned off and appears black. It is a burned and shorted pixel and will kill the SD board or SU board.
