hi
help if poss when trying to set up freeview on auto will not
store the channels,ok on anologue,when setting it manualy
on digital the channels lock in and you can store them,but when you
switch of all digi channels not there ,anolog still there,cannot find no
service info any were,using freview box at moment,any
suggestions

dont know if this will help but i had exactly the same fault on a 22 inch toshiba a couple of months back when every body had to re-tune after they mucked about with the freeview signal, there was a function in one of the menus which allows you to do a manufacturers reset,which wipes all the tuneing and the set sarts up as if it was turned on for the first time, and guides you through the tuneing system. it worked fine after that.
carnt remember the model (too much beer and chocolate over xmas)but looked like it may have been a vestel inside

have tried several times for factory reset no joy
have tried setting with aerial out then aerial in still
no luck anolog always tunes in , shows 99 freeview
channels stored but when swiched to digital no stations displays

Some sets have issues that they can't store more than a certain number of channels.
Try a factory reset, but cancel the auto tune, and manually tune just 1 mux to start with. If it retains that, scan another and so on. Perhaps deleting some of the dross channels as you go along.

can set it manually 1 mux at a time all channels come in and store ok
but when tv switched off then on all digi channels and mux frequencies
have gone strange
