Title: Samsung 42" plasma model # HP-T4254x/xaa
Post by: littlebitty on January 17, 2010,14:55:35
I have a 42" plasma that stopped turning on a few months ago. When it is plugged in the relays click continuosly and no power. No capacitors are bulging, leaking or blown. We had no other issues before it stopped working. What else should i check?

Help please.

Hi.should disconnect all the connectors to Y-board & Z-board but not to the control board then switch on;if the Tv starts,Led turns on,sound is ok,one of these boards is defective;plug in one by one to find out which one is dead.good luck.

Thank you, I did what you said and no response so I replaced the powers supply board and it is now working. A new issue has come up, the picture is not as clear... you can see snow and a line going across the middle of the screen(standard cable wire used).. the snow goes away if i use the svideo cable but the line remains. I don't have an HDMI cable. Are there any adjustments i can make to improve the picture.
