Thanks a million for the info Daz,works a treat now.so,so corrupted. The colour on freeview was odd becuase you have two lots of settings for colour r.g.b. drive one for analog, one for dvb. I've been lucky in the past only had a tuner setting drop.Once again thanks for all your help.

Hi maff99 and daz
Had another of these Sammy `88s in for repair and after all the usual scenarios was left with everything apearing to be ok except for the picture on 'movie mode' which was just a mass of swirly colours. Comparing the settings with daz`s notes showed quite a few differences. Using daz`s settings cured the problem. Dont know which one it was (or maybe a combination of a few).
A big thankyou fellas for taking the time to share info and experience.
Regards
John.

Hi All Above

I think I have the same issues - on movie mode the screen is a acid swirly green picture!

This is having a knock on effect on the other pictures - I have had a look at Daz's PDF's and if someone could please let me know where to enter these settings I think I may be able to sort the TV out.

I have replaced 4 caps this morining as I thought that may do the trick - it hasn't so there is obviously another problem and it sounds like this is the answer - but if someone can help I would really really appreciate this!

Cheers

Matt

I think I have done it now!

Found on another thread how to get in the service menu and have amended the ones that Daz put up and the movie screen is not swirly acid now!

Thanks all - hope it looks even better on Thu when Sky HD arrives!

Cheers

Matt
