Title: BUSH RF2185NTX SIL DEAD
Post by: tv john on February 27, 2010,11:42:57
Hi guys, have the above Bush RF2185 NTX with no o/p from chopper tx. I have bridged the mains smoother, replaced a 47 and 2.3 caps.Start resistors seem ok as I'm getting 12v to chopper ic and
320v to fet. All diodes read ok. Has anyone had the TDA chopper drive ic faulty  in this Beko 16.1(I think).
Cheers John.

Hi John
Assuming there are no secondary shorts that may shut down the chip then guess it`s the prime suspect. Think you`ll have to swop it just to rule it out. Have attached service manual and hope it may help.
Regards
John.

Hi,

Yes, I have had these chips fail!

Also check, best to replace,  the 1N4148 diodes, especially if this chassis uses SMD types

TDA chopper drive ic cured the problem.
Thanks ,John.

PS line stage started whining at switch on and euras pointed to c552  10/50v which ruins LOP tr.
