Title: sharp lc-c4067u need help with red light flashing 3x

i have a sharp lc-c4067u on the bench that came in with a solid red light on and replaced the main board and now i get green light for about 20 sec. and then red light flashes 3x and geen light flashing . tried v- , input to try an get to service mode no luck.  i have the same tv in the shop with a broken screen so i swapped all the boards just to make sure there wasnt something i was missing when i was checking voltages ect.  i was told on these newer sharps you just cant swap boards. You have to do a reset is that true?   any suggestions would be reaaly helpful .   thanks josh @ tnt electronics

Hi, did you manage to get your tv working. I had the same problem with red light but not flashing. I changed the power baord but it now turns on green and into red standby mode with any flashes. I have tried the reset by holding the power on button on the set and turning the TV off at mains and keep holding it for 10 sec. Release it for 10sec and hold it in whilst powering the system back on.
Let me know if you manage to fix your issues.
Also do you want to try changing your control board on the screen the small board with the 2 flex cables going to it.
