Title: bush lcd tv

 i have a bush lcd19w008hd which when i turn on picture is ok for few mins and then starts to flicker getting worse as time passes any ideas on repairing this or is it just fit to be put in bin

check 1000uf caps in power supply.good luck.

this has an external psu 12v @ 5a  and looks sealed ?? any ideas on opening with out to much damage to no screws to be found on psu thanks

however these are notorious for failing causing back lights to go out and sound remaining, it seems that even the slightest dip turns the lamps off, is it the 4 pin one or the the single

can u clarify 4 pin ? power supply is like laptop power supply it has 5 mm socket and plug center + positive outside - negative voltage steady at 11.98 v

no problem, some vestels used a single pin, others a 4 pin plug, ill pm you now

 :clap: :clap: :clap: :clap: FOUND problem 1000uf 16 v cap and 470uf 16v cap were at fault they were on the left side of the board near the power jack one dry jointed ( if i hadnt moved it wudnt even notice  leg move ) other failing under load
