Title: samsung PS-50Q96HD picture fault

i got a  PS-50Q96HD samsung in the work shop set suffers from a dotted picture?

i have attached a picture of the fault.

anyone have any ideas what fault might be.

cold solder on the main board or replace it

Nah, check the IC's on the Upper Buffer / Lower Buffer.

Needs a Y-Sus and Buffers.

Very Common.

Hi,
Bit like LG perhaps, where lower buffer failure gives coloured vertical lines - tell us more, as Samsung plasma is lesser known than their projection efforts that gave us so much fun - Chris.
