on my main board the component on R2 is completely blown with a chunk missing can any body help?

what is this component a schematic diagram for this tv anything? board fkv7827927

on the schematic diagram that i have found it is listed as c308 100nf 275vac? what does this mean

no point buying a board for an item that is pennies .

its not supplied in kit04

i think it solved today varistor

:clap:replace it with 100nf 300 or 400 v. if it is brusted then look for rectifier and replace it too. all the best

H folks,

Curious about a varistor that seems to be a 100nf capacitor - unusual, but hope it works, how about a component reference ?  - Chris.
