I have 3 of the above sets in my workshop, all from the same hotel with the same fault.
The fault is that although I get a good picture on DTV, I cannot change channel (changes channel ok on analog) also I cannot access the digital menu, everything else seems to work ok (picture and sound menus and scart socket) I am thinking firmware/software, would be very grateful if any body could help. Times are hard and this hotel as quite a number of these sets and therefore could be a nice earner(for a change)

hi , sounds daft but have you got the original remotes with the set ? on the bush/goodmans idtv sets a compatible remote emulating the philips codes will do exactly what you’re describing, but you need the original remote to change freeview channels as well.
otherwise you may be correct with eeprom settings, perhaps you could borrow a working set to get a copy?
good luck

First of all thanks very much for replying to my post ,yes I do have the correct handset, the only way I can get another set the same is from hotel mentioned who are reluctant to let another set go, with being 3 sets down already. I do feel the set need a software reset (a bit like the Samsungs) but have no idea how to get into the service mode(have searched the web and only found people having the same fault as I have and found no solution and there are no tips on euras regarding this model). It seems that Acoustic Solution are no longer in business as there home web page is no longer available, talk about banging your head against a brick wall!!! :wallbash: And the Hotel are on my back because of the England game!!!!!!!
