Hi Folks,
Have this odd set where most everything - including PS (Vestel 4 pin plug 24V variety - lots of amps - External, but fitted internally) Tuner and Scart module are 'Plug in'
Invertor - Darfon V144-001, cuts after a few seconds but all 4 fuses are OK.
Wonder if there is any history - PS reads 24V at all times - Chris.
PS - Set seems heavy in these days of Chinese thin plastic - but.

hi chris
think these ones are usually badged logik, but its a common problem, you will just have a dicky transformer, measure both secondary windings on all the transformers and look for the odd one out.
nice easy fix, sure you will have an old dafron board somewhere to nick a transformer off, don’t worry if the numbers are not exactly the same as long as the resistance of the windings are close they don’t seem to be to fussy.
good luck
daz
ps need a bit for a 19 inch technosonic(see parts to buy post) don’t suppose you have one in your tardis like loft?

Hi Daz, and thanks.
Have checked out the Tardis and don't have an LCD1903 - is chip used in any other sets ? Thanks muchly for advice re-invertor trannies - sounds nice fun job.
Thanks again - Chris.

hi chris
only ever seen them in technosonic sets, lcd1908 being the most common. no matter how much junk you accumulate you never seem to have the parts you need.
thanks for looking

Thanks Daz - that were fun,
Didn't read your thoughts fully until I fitted a trannie with 1k5 secondaries where original was 1k. Invertor naturally cut after a couple of seconds - merde.
Rummaged about in the Tardis and found a LG RZ 27LZ55 using Darfon invertor with 1K secondaries - transformer worked a treat - guess 32" sets use 1k5 secondaries.
Thanks yet again - fun day - Chris.
