Hi mzone
Might be worth warming the psu electrolytics with a hairdrier before switch on. Had a similar problem on a Philips plasma (albeit not the same model) caused by a duff capacitor. Located it by this method.
Best of Luck
John.

Hi mzone, I have exactly the same model and same fault (8 flashes). Have you fixed yours? can you remember which caps you changed? I have already done C8059,C8060  :03:
