Have one of these where picture is at times like the one supplied - other times it is OK

Any thoughts - Chris.

Hi Dave, and well said.

Had this feeling that odd colours were the usual screen drive lead prob troubles, but will go for it and be mildly rude if it doesn't.

Hi Chris

Feed the scart to a 2nd set and see if fault is showing

This gives you a good idea if Screen driver board fault or not

Hi and thanks a lot.

Coupled set via scart to another and no probs on second set. Cleaned lead as suggested and found no difference.
While waggling lead found that twisting the drive board caused problem to clear temporarily so going for a reflow.

PS - seems to have done the biz, but really need some USB microscope, as all those pins seem to blend into one - no probs at 18, but guess no quuq folks are 18 and keen telly-bashers.
