Title: Hitachi L42SP04U Vestel 17PW26-1 V4

Have one of these with a blown up power supply. Q803 is s/c with R829 burnt and fuse F800 gone with the fuse in the plug, have replaced these, but set is still dead, as anybody got any info on the set or the power supply   Thanks

Think we should maybe be grateful that a power supply schematic actually exists - unlike many makes that pass through our doors. Oh for the old days of manuals, parts lists, and spares to component level (which would be kept available for several years).

Ever grateful, now that unlike with all G500s a manual, shematic and parts list doesn't come in every box, but of course, those were British made, bit like Alba, Peto-Scott, and our very own Gt Yarmouth - Spencer-West that used ECL80s for most everything (apart from combined LOP and Boost diode as it kept flashing)

You do not need any permition you can go to NEW Faults database section with out even login in
to read the faults



And Please do not fogeting add new faults to database

Why does Mulja's link take me to a page where it says I can't access, and if I go new LCD faults the Hitachi L42SP04U doesn't seem to be mentioned also seems no way to add faults cured to the model file  ? ?

yes i found the problem with permition for hero members
but it fixed now.

You can just add fault for L42sp04 under hitachi section

but that power supply use in many makes this is vestel brand
like toshiba,sanyo,bush,technika.....
