Title: Philips 32PFL5522D/05 (LC7.2E Chassis)
Post by: brainstorm on August 11, 2010,11:55:58
Hi

I have one of these sets which was stuck in standby, I downloaded the manual from this site and when i went back to the set and tried it, the set then came on!!

I am not familiar with Philips sets, but i put it into the service mode to see if there were any error codes.

I put it in the SAM service mode and the error codes showing were: 12 2 13 0 0

Are there any Philips experts that can interpret these codes?

Many thanks

Brian

Hi Brian,

Have a larger screen version of 7.2 with something similar, noted a few days earlier.

Sparky suggested a main board problem from his experience.

My cust wouldn't go beyond Twenty Quid, so waiting for a Tip screen smash to make the needy pound.

Turkey Curry yet again, as I couldn't get set to function - Chris.

Hi Chris,

I think you may be right, I have left it on test and the freeview gets 'stuck' on one channel and you can't change the channel, the analogue is perfect.

I will see how much the board is

hi brian
hate the 7.2 chassis, had similar probs, seem to remember a reset in the service menu will get set working ok in analogue but never could get digi working, as long as you dont go into digi mode set seems to work ok (customer connects to  sky) suspect software probs but need compair to reprogram ( dealer only)
and to top it all philips wont supply a pcb, component level repairs only which is novel these days. link for smanual below

good luck
