Title: Samsung LE32R88BD
Post by: Turnip on September 10, 2010,12:36:11
Hi folks,

Had one in today with red led and now't else. Found RM801(R22) O/C and C810(2n2) secured with our fave glue which had flashed over.

Haven't seen it listed on site, but must be common.

Natch a piccy, of sorts - Chris.

Had the same set in and found one of the caps the cm861 1000uf 10V was shot on the PSU and the fuse f1 on the Tcon board had blown. The original problem was the inverters were on but no picture but sound!

Hi Cheeky, nice one,

Mine featured conductive glue that was a fave a while ago in some Eastern sets - gets hot and eventually carbonises causing phuts.

Fortunately discontinued as makers have recently used faux rubber that at least doesn't cause shorts, but loses it's stick - See Vestel 17PS -whatnot main caps, always found just hanging there, but no prob.

Thanks again - Chris.
