Title: 17PW22
Post by: sinclairtv on September 12, 2010,10:27:29
I had 2 Logik 26" sets that were completely dead. Rather than try and fit a kit to the PSU, I bought new ones. What you have to watch is that the smoothers hold a charge even on the new board. You'd think the designers could have fitted a resistor to dissipate the charge quickly. Anyone fitted a kit to repair the PSU?

Hi

I think the clue is the 'brand' Logik, I don't think vestel worry too much about the engineer when they are designing their sets in a cave somewhere in the Turkish hillsides.

I think they will be knocking these sets out faster than a kebab seller on a saturday night in a town or city near you!

They probably dont even expect anyone to be repairing them!
