Hi all :051bye:
I also have a hanspree jt01-32e2. the problem with this one is that the colour has gone all strange. It looks like a negative from a camera. i have had a look at the pcb and found no swollen caps.
i dont think there is a prob with the power pcb as the screen comes on with a pic and there is good sound just the picture is a bit messed up.
Is there any caps that i should check or a res that mite have gone open.
This one is for my comp so currently stuck with a small screen .....cry
any help or sugestions would be super. :72:
Thanks in advance

Hi Folks,
Just a thought as some folks might not have Hannspree listed (I don't) so what's the chassis, or a piccy so we can work it out - Guess it's a Beko - Chris.
-
yeah i think its a beko it takes about 2 weeks to remove all the screws before you can even get to anything to look at but i have had a similar fault on a bush 32"hd lcd. i did some random soldering on some dodgy looking joints and it seemed to sort it although wish i knew which one it was so i could pinpoint it
-
hi
have you tried connecting to another tv thro scarts?
if pic ok try the lead that connects main board to t-con

Hi Sparky,
Seems some folks can't remove back screws without a hernia - possibly due to random soldering - try to avoid it meself, esp with our Pope akimbo throwing out elevations for curious American medical cures - guess he wouldn't understand simple electronics, or even screws - of any kind.
Gather Cucumbers can release sunlight - Old book, but almost as good as Dawkins - notice our Pope gives him a slap for common sense.
Cheaper than an apology - difficult for one reputed faultless - bit like me - Sorry - Chris.
-
hehe funnnnny

Hi, DavenJax,
Yeah, but is it a Beko - ever cool - expecting piccies after a good (un) screw.
Some mending folks are a bit serious, esp when hungry - Chris.

Hi all
ok just taken the pics hope they help out some.
I have looked over the pcb and cant see any obvious bad solder joints. I pluged my pc into the tv so i know the cable and signal are all good. when looking at the menu this comes up as it should do, no bad colour or distortion.
Thanks
James

have you checked the lead up to screen drive board(t-con)

was gonna send pics but james beat me to it i will in future upload pics of any chassis i work on with my posts incase other users will find it useful i am a newbie here but will grow

just stripped the whole thing down as didnt know there was another pcb in there. put in the process i pissed me self off now. as i sodding damaged the clip for the lead going into the pcb with the four flat wires coming out of it.
but before i noobed it i wiggled it and found that the screen would flicker a little but the colour would not actually change. i also wiggled the four flat wires with no effect. but i guess to fully check them im gonna have to find my volt meter.
gonna try to get a pic of the screen if i can of the colour mess up as its not quite like a negative its kinda scrambled some like its a little colour bling
brb soon i hope

Hi JH,
Understand the annoyance,
That input plug with the sweet pressy wings either side, usually covered in hot melt, where plastic retaining things dissolve ending in lots of loose wires floating about - been there.
But now at last we know it's a 320WB02 - COB - Haven't got one, but guess some Quuq'er has - Chris.

hi
looks like one more for pile

go me solder iron back today and wont be drunk while attempting a fix tonite. will try to get it sorted but i not counting my chickens.
does that pcb just sort out where the pixels on the screen change or does it do process the video too, but looking at the main pcb i would guess that does the video processing.
Just trying to tie down where the colour messing would be coming from. whether it is the processing pcb or it could get a bit scrambled on its journey to the screen.
Well i will post back at some point either in a good mood or screaming at the clip that would have beaten me :P

soldered the thing together and there is now absolutely no pic.
Starting to think there is no point in trying to repair this dam tv as its jynxed.
time to just concentrate on the main tv and try to at least get one working if possible.
