Hi Lil Paul,
Mains switches are now quite the Green Biz. And they're all total crap, like most things these days.
Bring back original 'MK' with those beloved meaty switches made with real solid copper what-nots, Silver/Gold awful thin plating seems not the biz, but hopefully makes a pound, for modern folks - Chris.

yep yep, agree on that BIG time :72: thats the new switch i put in, some wanted £12:37 i got it for £6. still robbery if you look at what goes into it, i'll buy the new psu monday and hopefully "fingers crossed" that'll be that

New PSU board went in, same prob's, not coming on, kept my finger on the switch (this was a new switch) set came on gave the shop a right telling off, switch wasn't locking in, won't be using them again, still, i got a spare psu board now, have now ordered from chs. JOB DONE thks

Hi Lil Paul,
Your last was confusing - was the PS duff or Switch duff, or do you just have shares in ChasHyde/Son.
Wiltsgrove chap me'self (cheapskate, perhaps, but poor since Herrings left Yarmouth in the late 50's)
Well, it's accurate and different - now we're locally all Turkey giblets - gobble - Chris.

yes chris power switch was duff, i replaced it only to find that that was duff, sorry bout the confusion :)
