Title: Samsung DVD-SR150M

Hi all,

This machine will play discs ok but wont initialise a disc for recording. Suspect the DVD drive unless anyone knows different!
Seems to be a known problem, after a search on the net, but with no solution!
Probably another destined for recycling!

Ive had it once before and it was DVD drive faulty

Hi Keith,

Had the same trouble after a couple of years with an otherwise nice Liteon LVW5027HC.

It would just optically chew the disc centre then say it was duff - it was by then of course. Got a new Toshiba RD329DT (Chinese of course) seems the biz but only one tuner - pity -  Chris.
