Title: Removing Hot Melt Glue From Connectors
Post by: epi on February 01, 2011,03:31:42
Technical Tip.
Use surgical alcohol, as you get at local Pharmacy, just dab a little around glue and it will pull off immediately without damaging delicate conectors especially T-Con etc. I use a small serringe with the tip filed flat (to avoid poking myself) and inject alcohol between glue and connector, be carefull pulling glue away especially if it wraps around fine wires.

Hope this is usefull.

Hi Daz,
I got the above from the vestel service group I was working with till 2009, I'll try the hair dryer, never thought of that, all the best  :c017:
