Hi Roy,
Know little about plasma - Set has two power supplies, the small one usually pops it's 5v standby chip hence that list of bits. It's useful as it is used in some LCD.
Power supply I have is the big one - probably works as the set was a screen smash. Think to attach a piccy as it seems different to yours. Postage pretty hefty at 2.6Kg unboxed
-
Hi Chris,
were you barbecueing the power supply?? looks like its on a grill..... or birdie cage.......
-
Hi Frank,
Thought that was a decent piccy - not as good as yours perhaps but.
Are you perhaps in one of those countries where things digital are strained through an old sock ?
British and nearly as proud as we were pre WW2 - have wellies - Chinese of course - Chris
-
Nothing wrong with the piccy Chris, you can get real close to the components, really good, only I observed its on some sort of grill in a garden¿? thats why I asked.......

My sense of humour has been contaminated, been abroad too long..........

Hi PPH, you seem to have gone Gypsy.
Confess, went to school with a Heather, but that was the 40's and she's prob now Lucky-White and doesn't answer to my Fiends Re-united nudges.
Possibly dead, deaf or daft and watching Corrie on a big plasma with chairs around the room.
Seem to recall that there were two repair kits, fitted both then threw the board away - well mine was in a Beko 26 inch LCD, so used the one out of that smashed screen plasma.
No money made on that one - again - Chris.
PS - Hi Frank, just realised. It's all Rabbits hereabouts in damp Norfolk - have to cover most everything veggie then dump duff panels on to photo in our weak Norfolk sun.
Current modern wife says they are bunnies with souls (possibly) - well, she wasn't born 'till the 50's and missed all that Victory digging and sweetie stamps (not green ones - 70s)
She loved 'The Good life', though - didn't we all
