Title: JVC AV-27FA44 ASA dead?
Post by: wcv308 on April 06, 2011,00:08:04
Well, when I first plug in the TV I get a thin blue horizontal link in the center of the screen, just long enough to get a glimpse of it, then its as if the tube has no power it goes completely off and I am left with the green power light blinking...

Any help you guys can give will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

You have a line collapse,I would check the line output transistor to see if s/c,if so it will be caused by some evil dry joints .

I would say frame collapse if its horizontal, but do agree to check for dry joins (on the frame chip)
but i might be wrong, and not for the first time.
