Hi i have the common fault of the tv clicking. I opened it up and couldnt find any broken capacitors but i replaced them all just incase there was one that had gone that i couldnt see. The tv still clicks and doesnt come on. I read that you need to reset the eeprom chip but have no idea whitch one it is or how to do it any pictures would be great or a manual thanks hope someone can help me

staight forward or just change eeprom chip

Usually on power board replaced all 10v1000mkf capacitors
and tv if still not start need replaced EEPROM biside micom 24LC256
you can programm any yourself with all FF FF FF FF FF
becouse all settings he load from micom at first switching on

then you need to go to service menu
options
change READY ON to OFF

when you change eprom it usually sets its self

The eprom is situated under the card reader slot and does not have to be programmed as the data is loaded from the micro

you can use a 26c64,thats just fine,when the eeprom gets corrupted ,if wont re-programme,as it gets damaged,a quick way to fire set up is short out pin5 and 6 on eeprom ,clk/data this will re-set and at least tell you whats going on

Thanks for all your help i took the board off and noticed a black mark this looks bad i have posted the picture on the other post i have got hopefully someone will be able to help me
