Title: samsung ps-50c96hd

ok chaps pick this tv up yesterday it's a samsung model number ps-50c96hd it's got no picture took the  back found a bulging cap on ysus board but still the same. is there a repair kit for the ysus board or any got aboard going cheap thanks. ps  i'll get a picc if you need 1

Check FETS on ysus if 3 or more measure short then ,you will need ysus and upper and lower buffer boards,at about 150.00 quid for all 3 !

i have replaced all three boards on 2 of these only for the upper buffer to burn out immediately and the fets too does anyone know if a screen probem could cause this

ok daddy will i have to replace the 3 board seems a bit  harsh i've got sound but no picture

Hello,
On this model, if the Y-SUS buffer is blown, it's 99% certain the display is
also faulty, if your lucky, and it doesn't  blow the new panel(s), it will
probably have a mal-discharge effect.
We don't bother trying to repair this fault on this model, and just advise customer of
panel/display replacement cost.
