Title: HH V500 Stereo amplifier

Hi folks,

Got one of these where all the 2SJ50/TO3/P output fets on one channel have popped - if they were cheap would just plug some in - they're not, so anyone with a shematic  ? - cust said there was smoke, but haven't found the source yet (thing weighs a ton) - Chris

These amps are well sought after, and worth fixing, within reason!! How many FETs are gone?

Checked current price of those rather old fashioned TO3 FETs - thought how much I'd lose if the new ones went pop for no obvious reason then I chicken'd out - cluck.

Did the HH-Laney biz on line in initial hopes of the shematic (they said they hadn't got one, but could mend the amp for a price - heavier than the amp, I suspect)

Possibly send cust your way if you wish - he wants it done last week, or sooner - Chris.
